Samira is an award-winning designer, ARTIST, entrepreneur whoSE WORK HAS TRANSFORMED LIVES aND EMPOWERED WOMEN AROUND THE WORLD.

Since opening Samira Brow Couture in 2016, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to combine my love for design and beauty to create a space where artistry meets personalized care. Before entering the beauty industry, I spent a decade working as a fashion designer in New York City, where I honed my eye for detail and style. My training at Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) shaped my approach—each brow I design is crafted with the same precision and care as a couture garment. At Samira Brow Couture, I believe in customizing every brow to enhance my clients’ unique allure, just like a designer tailors clothing to fit their client perfectly. I want every person who leaves my studio to feel confident, radiant, and empowered. 

Specializing in natural, timeless results has become my signature. I’m particularly passionate about working with women over 40 and those with mature skin. Understanding the individual  needs of more mature clients allows me to create soft, natural brows that enhance their features in a way that feels ageless and appropriate, helping them look and feel their absolute best.

Beyond my work in permanent makeup, I’ve brought my background in fashion to life within the studio through my “beautique” area—a carefully curated, vintage-inspired space where clients can shop jewelry, accessories, and permanent jewelry. It’s another way I integrate fashion and beauty, providing clients with a special shopping experience while they’re here.

My journey into the beauty world started earlier, in 2013, when I launched Northern Virginia’s first-ever beauty bar, which included a very popular eyebrow bar. It set the standard for brow services in the area, and I was proud to be the first Phibrows ‘Royal Artist’ in the Washington, D.C. metro area—an honor awarded by international brow masters.

With over 15 certifications in permanent makeup, I offer services in microblading, combo (hybrid microblading/shading), powder brows, and upper eyeliner enhancement. Education is incredibly important to me, and I’ve traveled to places like London, Miami, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas to train with some of the world’s top artists, including Dovile Zilinskaite, Nicole Hahn, Lindsey Ta, Jelena Meier, Linnie Phan, Girlz Ink, Stefanie Toms (eyeliner), and Tess Marti (lips). I’m always learning, making sure I’m offering my clients the very best the industry has to offer. I was also thrilled to have my work featured on HUDA Beauty, which was such an exciting moment in my career! For me, it’s not just about aesthetics—my goal is for every client to walk out feeling like their best selves, both inside and out. I take pride in providing natural results that complement each person’s singular features, offering a timeless look that never feels overdone.

I’ve been blessed to have a wide-ranging career—encompassing fashion, beauty, media, and entrepreneurship—spanning over 20 years. Before founding Samira Brow Couture, I launched award-nominated fashion labels, started multiple successful businesses, and mentored aspiring beauty professionals. 

Perhaps most importantly, I’ve also always believed in giving back, both locally and internationally. I’ve sponsored a women’s and children’s education and entrepreneurship program in Kabul and supported countless charities, schools, and causes in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. through my "Beauty for Good Project," focusing on issues like alopecia, cancer, and domestic violence. I do all this from a sense of responsibility and love for the  larger communities I’m part of, while gratefully acknowledging how the good we might do for others can only positively impact our lives.

Samira Brow Couture is the culmination of my lifelong love for design, my passion for helping others, and my commitment to making every client feel their best. I’m so grateful to be doing what I love and for the chance to share that with each and every one of you. Thank you for your trust in me!
